According to Sky Sports Hibs are in a three-way battle to sign Scotland midfielder James Morrison.
The Hibees will face competition for his signature from Hearts and Aberdeen after the 33-year-old was freed by West Brom after 11 years with the club.
Morrison has played over 300 games for the Baggies, scoring 32 goals in the process and would bring a wealth of experience to Easter Road.
He also racked up 44 appearances for Scotland in an excellent career.
Editor's View:
Morrison has been a very good player during his career and if he still has his legs would be a cracking signing.
At 33-years-old he doesn't match the type of signings Paul Heckingbottom has went for so far.
Heckingbottom has went for younger players and has stated in the past he wants a team packed with energy, Morrison would fit into that if he's still got the legs.
On ther other hand, think back to Franck Sauzee, signed at roughly the same age, he strolled through games and became a massive fans favourite.
Another interesting player linked with Easter Road.
