Hibs linked with Philadelphia Union defender Stuart Findlay

Hibs have tonight been linked with a move for former Kilmarnock defender Stuart Findlay.

According to the Daily Record, Hibs are keen on his signing.

The 26-year-old signed for MLS side Philadelphia Union in February, but the move has not gone as planned, with the Scotland international struggling for game time.

Jack Ross has apparently targeted Findlay as he looks to bolster the defence when the January transfer window opens. after a poor summer window.

The Hibees failed with a number of bids for St Johnstone defender Jamie McCart in the summer, and had to switch targets late in the day, signing Nathan Wood on loan from Middlesbrough, a move that so far hasn't worked out, with Wood only making one appearance for the Hibees.

It now seems Findlay has shot to the top of the wanted list.

Hibernian-Mad View:

Stuart would be an excellent singing for the Hibees.

He was excellent for Kilmarnock, forcing his way in to Scotland contention, and winning a lucrative move to the MLS.

Let's see if Hibs make the move.
