Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has today been linked with a move for Partick Thistle midfielder Chris Erskine.
The 25-year-old has been a stand out for the Jags this season, and Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is a keen admirer, having been to Firhill on a number of occasions to see him.
Apparently both Huddersfield and Motherwell have had the player watched as well, so the Hibees could face competition for his signature.
Erskine has played over 100 games for the First Division side since signing from Junior outfit Kilbirnie Ladeside in 2009.
Should Hibs move for the player a small fee would need to be agreed, as he is contracted at Firhill until May 2013.
Hibs raided Partick Thistle at the start of this season for Paul Cairney, who has been an absolute revelation at Easter Road, let's hope his former team mate has such an impact if he joins.
