The Daily Record has tonight reported that Hibs are eyeng a move for Motherwell U21 star Allan Campbell.
Off the back of the news that the Hibees have made three approaches for St Mirren midfielder Kyle Magennis, each being turned down, The Hibees are now keen on another exciting Scottish talent.
Campbell, 22, is out-of-contract next summer, with any interested clubs able to sign him on a pre-contract in January.
According to the report, the Hibees are willing to pay the £200,000 compensation to get him to Easter Road before the transfer window shuts next month.
Campbell has been outstanding for Motherwell and is apparently in talks about a new contract with the Steelmen, but Hibs wait in the wings.

Campbell is a brilliant player, who has been outstanding for Motherwell this season.
If the Hibees managed to pull off the capture of both Magennis and Campbell before the window shuts, the season would go from being one with potential to a very exciting prospect over night.
It would also be a massive staement of intent.
