Hibs have today been linked with freed Sheffield United striker Marc McNulty.

The 24-year-old is a free agent after leaving the Bramall Lane outfit last week.

According to tonight's Edinburgh Evening News, Hibs boss Neil Lennon has already made enquries about the player.

Interest in McNulty is high however, with Hearts and a number of English League One & Two clubs interested.

McNulty is Edinburgh born, and is actually a former Hibs academy player, who the club released in 2009.

He went on to sign for Livingston, making a massive impact, scoring over 40 goals in 96 appearances,  before winning a reported £150,000+ move to Sheffield in 2014.

McNulty has spent 3 years with United, and during that spell had two loan moves, to Portsmouth during the 2015/16 season, and a spell with Bradford City last season.
