According to a report in his native Ghana, Hibs are hot on the trail of former loan player Thomas Agyepong.
The Man City player is about to enter the last yer of his contract with City, and it's reported they are keen to get the Ghana international off the books at the Etihad this summer.
Sports World Ghana are reporting that Hibs boss Jack Ross is keen to bring the lightning fast winger back to Easter Road, but on a permanent deal.
Agyepong, 23, spent an injury ravaged season on loan at Easter Road during the 2018/19 season, scoring once in 10 games.
He spent last season on loan with Belgian club Waasland-Beveren, making 14 appearances.
Editor's View:
Agyepong was a strange one the last time at Easter Road, he started well and looked like he was going to kick on, before suffering his injuries.
He looked the type, that was on the verge of breaking out, and becoming a very dangerous player.
At only 23, if Hibs could keep him fit, and depending on the fee, he could be worth the gamble.
He has good experience after spells on loan in Holland (x2), Belgium and, of course, Scotland.
He would add some serious pace to the side as well, which is always a huge bonus.
