Hibs have tonight been linked with moves for two players currently plying their trade in the League of Ireland.
Shamrock Rovers striker Gary Twigg and Bohemians winger Killian Brennan have both been linked with moves to Easter Road.
Twigg is Shamrock Rovers top goalscorer, having bagged 14 last season at the Tallaght Stadium.
The 27-year-old signed for Shamrock Rovers in 2009 from Scottish 2nd division side Brechin City in a £20,000 deal. He has gone on to score over 60 goals in under 100 appearances for the Dublin club.
Since he moved to Ireland Twigg has won two league championships and also won the Setanta Cup.
He was voted as Shamrock Rovers Player of the Year, and the LOI Player of the Year in 2009, and also landed the Golden Boot that season after scoring 24 goals.
He was also involved in all six games that Rovers played in this season's Europa League group stage.
Twigg has also spent time at Derby County, Hamilton Accies and Bristol Rovers.
Hibs could face a stumbling block to get his signature however, with Shamrock Rovers looking for a decent fee for the player.
Ex Bohemians winger Killian Brennan is the other player, from over the water, to be interesting Pat Fenlon.
Brennan is a free agent after leaving Bohemians at the end of the Irish season.
The 27-year-old winger played over 130 games for Bohs, scoring 30+ goals, and will know Fenlon well from their time with the club.
Breenan has also played for Dublin City, and Derry City in Ireland, and has won a number of trophy's in his homeland - 2 League Titles, 2 FAI Cup's, 3 League of Ireland Cup's and 1 Setanta Cup.
Hibs could face competition for his signature, with Championship side Coventry City said to be eyeing up a move for the player.
Breenan previously spent time on trial with Coventry in the summer, and it seems the Midlands club could still be interested.
