Hibs linked with Ipswich Town defender Corrie Ndaba

Today, Hibernian FC have been linked with a potential transfer move for Ipswich Town's defender Corrie Ndaba.

Reports suggest that the Hibees are contenders to sign the centre-back following his notable loan period at Kilmarnock last season.

Ndaba, familiar with Scottish football through his 37 appearances for Kilmarnock and a previous loan at Ayr United, is versatile enough to also cover the left-back position.

This is a role Hibs boss David Gray is looking to strengthen, especially since Jordan Obita is currently the sole player in that position after the departure of the esteemed Lewis Stevenson to Raith Rovers.

With one year remaining on his contract, the 24-year-old Ndaba is also on Kilmarnock's radar, who are reportedly eager to secure his return.

Good to see Sir Dave re-building the Hibees from the back!!

We have been crying out for a defence re-build for a good 2-3 seasons and it's finally been targeted.

There has been talk of Hibs going back for Bournemouth defender Owen Bevan on loan again, after his loan deal was ended before he could play last season due to injury.

Signing Ndaba would probably put an end to that one?
