Hibernian FC have been linked today with a potential move for Ipswich Town goalkeeper Cieran Slicker.
Multiple reports suggest that Hibernian's new manager, David Gray, is considering a loan deal for the Scotland U21 international.
Slicker, 21, transferred to Ipswich from Manchester City last summer and has since appeared in several first-team cup matches.
The Manchester-born goalkeeper has expressed his desire to pursue a loan opportunity next season.
Nonetheless, Hibernian might encounter competition for his signature, as Kilmarnock FC is also reportedly monitoring the player.
Previously, Slicker had a loan stint with Rochdale, where he featured in a few of cup fixtures.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
Hibs will definately be in the market for at least one goalkeeper this summer.
We have to admit we know very little about the player, but with David Marshall having apparently left the club (No official announcement yet), and Jojo Wollacott not pulling up any trees, a new keeper would be most welcome.
Let's see if there is any legs in this story.
