According to respected journo Alan Nixon, Hibs have joined Aberdeen in the race to sign Fleetwood Town attacker Shayden Morris.
The Dons have been linked with the player over the last few days, but Nixon has revealed on his Patreon page that Hibs have joined the race for his signature.
20-year-old Morris played 26 games and scored 2 goals in a horrible season for the Cod Army.
Fleetwood, managed by former Hibs midfielder Scott Brown, are apparently not in the best financial position, and it's thought a lower six-figure fee could land the player.
Morris has played 40 games for Fleetwood since breaking through from their academy.
He can play on the wing or as a striker.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
We don't know much about the kid, but it seems he's an exciting talent.
The Hibees are said to be close to landing a centre-half, but another young forward seems a strange signing.
Unless of course he is added to the new development side.
Of course, a lot of the newspapers, always seem to lump Aberdeen and Hibs together, once the other is linked with a player.
