It has been revealed in some area's of this morning's press that Hibs could be about to pounce for Dunfermline's Dutch keeper Dorus De Vries.

The former Telstar, Stormvogels Telstar and ADO Den Hagg keeper, 27, is out of contract in the summer at
East End Park and has produced some superb displays in a difficult season for the Fife outfit.

De Vries can sign a pre-contract with any club he chooses at this very moment and has apparently impressed Hibs boss John Collins.

It is thought however that Hibs will face competition for his signature from Dundee Utd as well as clubs in
England and also club's back in his homeland of Holland.

Hibs have already tied up THREE players on pre-contract agreements and this could be number four.

Motherwell midfielder Brian Kerr,
York City striker Clayton Donaldson and 16-year-old Austrian wonder kid Elias Wagner have all agreed to sign for the Hi-Bees in the summer, as boss John Collins looks to re-build for next season.

Hibs are in the market for a keeper and have also been linked with giant
Chelsea reserve keeper Yves Makaba Makalamby.
