According to the Scottish Sun, Hibs will battle Hearts to try and sign Dundee Utd midfielder Dylan Levitt.
Levitt, 22, is likely to leave Tannadice this window, after they were relegated back to the Scottish Championship, in an attempt to keep his international dreams alive.
He joined the Tangerines from Manchester United last summer, after a superb loan spell the season before, however he failed to hit the same standards as the previous campaign.
Cardiff City are also said to be interested, but due to tranfer restrictions, can only loan the player, and Dundee United want a fee to help boost their re-build plans under Jim Goodwin.
Hibs boss Lee Johnson is looking for an attacking midfielder after allowing injury prone Kyle Magennis to leave for Kilmarnock, and was, only this mornng, linked with a £250,000 move for St Mirren dynamo Keanu Baccus.
Levitt has had previous loan spells with Charlton Athletic and Istra 1961, and has been capped at numerous levels for Wales, including 13 full caps.
HIBS-MAD VIEW
Another good player being linked with Easter Road.
Both Levitt and Baccus would be good options, for a midfield that is badly crying out for 2-3 good signings.
Magennis has gone, and a cloud hangs over the futures of both Ewan Henderson and Nohan Kenneh, which would free up wages to bring in reinforcements.
The European games are quickly flying in, let's hope we can get more quality in before then.
