Hibs have tonight been linked with a move for Club Brugge keeper Josef Bursik.
According to respected journo Alan Nixon, The Hibees are eyeing a possible loan deal for the English keeper.
The 23-year-old came through the youth system at Stoke City and managed to make over 50 appearances for the Potters in the Englsih Championship, and has been capped from U17-U21 level for England.
Bursik also had numerous loan spells whilst with Stoke, playing for the likes of Doncaster, Peterborough and Lincoln City, amongst others.
He signed for Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee in January last year, but after picking up a knee ligament injury, he never made an appearance for their first team, and has only played for their youth team.
Hibs boss David Gray is said to be set to offer him a season long loan deal at Easter Road, to help him get his career back on track.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
Good to see the Hibees looking at bolstering the keeper department at Easter Road.
After the retirement of David Marshall, Hibs only have Jojo Wollacott to call upon next season.
Could Bursik be the answer?
