Hibs have tonight been linked with yeat another striker, after Christian Doidge joined Killie on loan.
According to the Scottish Sun, the Hibees are monitoring the situation with Burton Albion striker Lewis Moult.
The former Motherwell man is apparently attracting interest from our adminstration bothering neighbours Hearts, but the report suggest Hibs are watching the situation with interest.
The Hibees have been linked with a couple of strikers over the last 24 hours, with reports suggesting boss Lee Johnson has approached Swindon Town over hitman Harry McKirdy.
QPR striker Macauley Bonne is another who has been linked with a move to Easter Road.
With QPR willing to listen to offers for the former Ipswich and Charlton forward.
It now seems former Motherwell forward Lewis Moult has been added to the shortlist.
Moult has a good goal-scoring record during his career, having hit 106 goals in 300 games and has played for the likes of Preston, Stoke and Wrexham.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
Lewis Moult was a fantastic striker when he was last in Scotland at Fir Park.
However he has been plauged with injury over the last few years, and has only scored 9 goals since leaving Motherwell in 2018.
If we could get him back to full fitness, he would be a cracking signings, but this ne could be a gamble.
Surely a gamble is the last thing we should consider right now?
However, we will back the player should he sign.
