Hibs have today been linked with a move for Brighton winger Ben Dickenson.
The pacey youngster, who can also play on either wing, or up front apparently impressed Butcher, while he was down south this week with Chief Scout Steve Marsella, watching Brighton take on Aston Villa in a friendly.
Marsella has also given Butcher a glowing report of the youngster, and according to some tabloid newspapers, the Hibees are ready to make a move.
Brighton are apparently willing to let the player go, as he has struggled to break in to the first team since signing from non-league Dorchester Town last year.
Dickenson, 20, has been out on loan twice, and impressed while with both Chesterfield and AFC Wimbeldon, and Brighton are willing to loan him out again, and are apparently also willing to let him leave on a free, if a sell-on clause is included in any deal.
