Hibs have today been linked with a move for Brenford winger Joel Valencia.
According to Ecuadorian news outlet Mercado Futbal, the Hibees are interesed in bringing the 27-year-old to Easter Road on loan until the end of the season.
Valencia spent last season on loan in Austria with Legia Warsaw, making 12 appearances in the Ekstraklasa.
He returned to England this season, but has found himself out-of-favour, playing in the U23 Premier League.
Brentford will allow the player tol eave on loan this window, and with Hibs having just let young Dan Mackay leave on loan to Kilmarnock, a space has been freed up in the squad.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:
Before we even start, local Edinburh press reporters are already claiming there is no truth in this rumour.
However, the left wing is an area that could be worth bolstering, especially now Dan Mackay is out on loan at Killie.
Hibs have a number of players that can play there, including new boys Chris Mueller and Elias Melkersen, but they are not naturally left sided.
However the left sided wingers we have, including Mackay, are Jamie Murphy and Drey Wright and both have struggled to make the spot their own.
The Hibees also have on loan James Scott capable of playing on the left, but again, he has struggled to hold down a spot in the team
Hibs are obviously still keen to add to the squad this window, despite signing 5 players already.
