Hibs youngster Kane O'Connor has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old has signed a reported 2-year deal with the club.
Hibs are said to have beaten off interest from England to secure the defender on a contract at Easter Road.
Speaking to the official website. the Scotland U17 international said:
“I’m very proud, I’ve worked hard to get to this point for seven years and it’s good to be here.
“My goal is to try and break into the first-team in a few years. I’ll keep working hard, keep doing what I’m doing, and I’ll hopefully get there one day.”
O'Connor is the first of a number of exciting youngsters to officially sign a new deal with the club.
According to Kenny Millar at the Sun, Hibs have also offered deals to exciting youngsters Scott Martin, Callum Crane, Oli Shaw & Ryan Porteous
