Hibs have today revealed that back-up goalkeeper Sean Murdoch has signed a new deal with the club.
Murdoch arrived as a free agent in October, following a spell in England with Accrington Stanley. He has also played for Hamilton Accies.
The 26-year-old has now signed a fresh 6 month contract at Easter Road, and despite not having played for the Hibees yet, boss Pat Fenlon was delighted to tie him down.
Speaking to the official club website, the Hibs boss said:
"This was another deal we were keen to tie up and Sean has been a good professional around the club.
"He has been on the bench and made a positive contribution in training sessions. We're pleased he will continue to provide experienced cover for Ben Williams."
