Hibs keeper Ally Brown freed to sign for Stenhousemuir

Last updated : 06 February 2008 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have freed young keeper Ally Brown and he has promptly signed for Third division side Stenhousemuir.

Brown, 22, has been a free agent for a couple of weeks and has signed on at Ochilview until the end of the season.

The youngster had been on loan at the Warrior's already this season and it looks like he impressed enough to be offered at deal.

Ally also spent a season on loan at Raith Rovers, he made 41 appearances for the
Fife club and also spent a short time on loan at fellow Fife club Cowdenbeath.

Brown was also a regular in the Scotland U21 squad for a while, he only made two appearances in a Hibs shirt.

Both of which came in the Intertoto Cup against Lithuanian side FK Vetra, Hibs going out 2-1 on aggregate.

Good luck with Stenhousemuir Ally, from all of us Hibernian-Mad.
