Hibs are said to be keen on the signing of Celtic goalkeeper Mark Brown, the former Inverness Caledonian Thistle star is in the process of securing a pay-off for the last five months of his contract, and according to sources has already been given permission to talk with John Hughes.
Hughes is keen to add another goalkeeper to his squad, despite already signing ex Motherwell keeper Graeme Smith from Brighton and Graham Stack from Plymouth Argyle. Hibs also have giant Belgian Yves Ma-Kalambay and young Thomas Flynn on their books, and Hughes has stated he wants to set-up up a “goalkeeping school” at Easter Road. 28-year-old Brown was apparently told he could talk to Hibs yesterday, and could be about to become the second keeper to arrive at Easter Road this transfer window.
