According to today's Scottish Sun newspaper, Hibs are keen on signing Carlisle midfielder Jamie Devitt.
The Hibees have been to watch the 28-year-old on a number of ocassions this season, as he has hit 11 goals and contributed 8 assists for the English League Two side.
Devitt is out-of-contract this summer and Hibs could make their move now and sign te player on a pre-contract, however he is said to be in talks about extending his deal with Carlisle.
Hibs will also face competition for his signature - with Hearts, as well as a couple of English League One sides said to be keen on Irish U21 international.
Devitt started his career with Hull City, and during that time had numerous spells out on loan, with the likes of Grimsby, Darlington and Bradford City.
He then moved to Chesterfield, before a move to Morecombe, then finally Carlisle.
