BBC Sport Scotland are this afternoon reporting that Hibs have joined the race to sign Kyle Lafferty.
The 29-year-old has been in discussions with Hearts over the weekend, but it now seems Hibs boss Neil Lennon is keen on bringing his countryman to Easter Road.
Lafferty is a free agent after leaving English Championship side Norwich City, and apparently has a number of club's vying for his signature.
Lennon is on the look-out for a big powerful hitman, after losing Grant Holt in the summer, and Lafferty fits the bill.
Lafferty left Rangers in 2012 after they were liquidated and forced to come back as a new club in Scottish League Two.
He signed for Sion in Switzerland, before moving to Italian Serie A side Palermo. He then signed for Norwich City, before being loaned out to both Turkish side Rizespor and Birmingham City.
