Hibs have today been linked with Racing Ferrol's French midfielder Steven Cohen.
The 21-year-old is seen as a replacement for Hibs' Guillaume Beuzelin if he doesn't sign a contract extension to stay at Easter Road beyond the summer.
Cohen has scored 9 goals in his 33 games for the Spanish Second division side and is attracting a lot of interest.
Wigan , Liverpool , Marseille, Real Betis and Deportivo La Coruna are all said to be monitoring the player and could yet make a move, all but ruling out any chance of Hibs landing him.
Hibs boss John Collins is reportedly keen on bringing the player to Easter Road in a £100,000 deal, but if any of the reported clubs show an interest, Hibs couldn't compete with the wages on offer.
Cohen has admitted that he would be interested in a move toScotland by saying:
"Scotland is an attractive league and I will listen to all offers that are presented to me."
