Hibs have handed a trial to left back Michael Liddle.
The 25-year-old is a free agent after leaving Accrington Stanley, and as been handed the chance to impress by Hibs boss Alan Stubbs.
The left back played 90 minutes in the Development squad match against Falkirk the other night, a game that ended 3-3.
Liddle started his career with Sunderland, but failed make a first team appearance.
During his time with the Mackems he was loaned out on numerous occasions, having spells with Carisle, Leyton Orient, Gateshead and Accrington Stanley.
In 2012 he joined Accrington on a permanent deal, where he played over 70 games, before his release this summer.
Liddle has been capped 5 times for the Republic of Ireland U21 side.
