Hibs boss Neil Lennon has stepped up his bid to bolster his squad, by handing a trial to French midfielder Enzo Reale.
The 25-year-old former Lyon starlet will spend the next few days training at the Hibees training facility in an attempt to win a deal at Easter Road.
Reale turned out as a trialist for the Hibees’ DV side at the Oriam National Performance Centre against Ross County’s DV side.
Lennon is on the look-out for a midfielder due to the injuries picked up by John McGinn, Fraser Fyvie, Alex Harris & Danny Handling, that leaves the Hibs squad a bit thin.
Hibs have already been linked with the likes of Jermiane Pennant, Fausto Rossi & Leon Osman in the last week or so.
Reale is a free agent after leaving French club Clermont.
He made his name coming through the Lyon youth academy, and making one appearance for the club.
Reale had a loan spell with Boulonge, making 26 appearances, before Lyon sold him to FC Lorient for 1m Euros in 2012, making 22 appearances for the club, before going out on loan again, this time to Aries-Avignon.
He then joined Clermont on a two-year-deal in August 2015, but left the club last summer, making 16 appearances.
Reale has been capped by France at U17, U18, U19 & U20 level
