The 19-year-old is curently signed with French side Strasbourg's U19 side.
Pierre is a centre back and has been training at the Hibees East Mains training facility for the last month.
According to the Evening News, Pierre has played in two friendlies, against Spartans at East Mains, and a trip south to face the Huddersfield B side.
6ft 2in Pierre has played for Haiti at Under-17 level, as well as playing for USL side Real Monarchs.
He has also played for Real Salt Lake's youth side and been called up by the USA U20 side.
Hibernian-Mad View:
Good to see Hibs are always looking to bolster the squad.
This coming January is going to be massive for the club, and there is no harm in taking the young lad on trial.
Bobby has some decent experience and could be a possible development signing.
