Hibs are this morning being linked with loan moves for both Anthony Stokes and Efe Ambrose.
According to the Express newspaper, Hibs boss Neil Lennon is hopeful of landing both players before the transfer window shuts tommorow night.
With defender Paul Hanlon looking at a long term injury lay off, due to a pelvic injury, that could possibly lead to surgery, Lennon is looking to bring Ambrose to Easter Road as cover.
The 28-year-old Nigerian internationalist has been frozen out under Brendan Rodgers at Parkhead, and could be keen on a loan deal to put himself in the shop window ahead of the summer.
The Express are also reporting that Lennon is keen on bringing legendary striker Anthony Stokes back to the club on loan.
Stokes, 28, joined Blackburn Rovers in the summer after leaving Celtic, but has struggled for game time, and hasn't started a game since August, in the EFL Cup against Crewe Alexandra.
He was, again, an unused sub against Blackpool in the FA Cup at the weekend.
It remains to be seen if Stokes would be keen to leave Ewood Park on loan, rather than fight for his place.
Stokes wrote himself in to Hibernian folklore in May, when he scored two goals in the 3-2 Scottish Cup Final win over Rangers, as the Hibees lifted the trophy for the first time in 114 years.
