Hibs eye Slask Wroclaw keeper Max Boruc

Hibs have today been linked with Slask Wroclaw goalkeeper Max Boruc.

The 20-year-old was on trial with the Hibees last summer, but at the time was not offered a deal.

However, according to the daily record Hibs boss Lee Johnson was impressed, and has now decided to make a move.

6ft 4in Boruc has also had spells in England with West Brom and Stoke City but it looks like he is on his way to Easter Road.

The report suggests that a deal could be struck quite easily, with Slask only wanting a sell-on in the deal.

Johnson is looking to add competition for veteran David Marshall, and with youngster Murray Johnson out on loan at QOS, Boruc might not be the only keeper arriving.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

We must admit we know nothing about the lad, but we are desperate for a keeper or two.

Marshall didn't always cover himself in glory last season, and a solid arrival could help push him on.
