Hibs have this morning been linked with yet another January signing and this time it's former Falkirk kid Conor McGrandles.
The 26-year-old is out-of-contract at the end of he season, allowing him to talk to and agree a pre-contract deal with any interested club.
Football Scotland claim the Hibees will fight it out with Aberdeen and a host of English Championship and League One clubs for the in-form Lincoln City midfielder.
McGrandles, 26, started his career with Falkirk, with Hibs even trying to sign back then, when they put an offer in, but he chose Norwich City.
Moves to MK Dons and a loan back to Falkirk followed, before he ended up with Lincoln.
The report suggests that if a pre-contract can be struck, then a move this month is a big possibility.
Hibernian-Mad View:
Hibs are being linked with players left, right and centre over the last 24 hours, with two deals close and another not far away.
Could McGrandles be another.
He was an eciting young talent back in the day at Falkirk, and he is now an experienced pro with over 250 appearances under his belt and he's still only 26.
The Hibees are needing fresh faces all over the pitch and this could be one to keep an eye on.
