Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has revealed that the club has entered talks about extending the loan deals of Leigh Griffiths, Jorge Claros and Ryan McGivern.
All three players have been instrumental in the Hibees superb start to the season, that sees them currently sitting 2nd in the SPL table.
Griffiths is currently in his second loan spell at Easter Road, and is the club's current top goalscorer on 9 goals.
Claros is on loan from Honduran club C.D. Motagua, signing for the Hibees last January on a 12 month loan. His first 6 months in Edinburgh were patchy to say the least, but the 35 times capped midfielder has been sensational since the summer, and hopefully his deal can be extended until the summer.
McGivern arrived this summer from English giants Manchester City, and after forcing his way into the side at the expense of Alan Maybury, has been outstanding at left back.
Hibs boss Pat Fenlon said:
“We want to try and hold onto the three of them after January - that’s the important thing as they’ve all been key to the team.
“Obviously Leigh, Ryan and Jorge are playing every week and are key to what we are trying to do.
“So we’re exploring that at the moment and we’ll try to make progress with that over the next few weeks to make sure that come January we have them for a longer period.”
