Hibs on loan forward Steven Pinau is today on his way back to Italy, after his loan deal expried.
The 21-year-old French striker spent the season on loan from Serie A side Genoa, but has not been handed a chance to shine by boss Mixu Paatelainen.
Pinau was only given a couple of late appearances from the bench to try to force his way in to the first team, and never managed to persuade Paatelainen to play him.
This is despite Paatelainen claiming he had been chasing Pinau's signature for over a year.
His only goal for the Hibees, was in the embarrassing 4-3 home defeat to 1st division side Morton in the CIS Cup at Easter Road.
Pinau did score 10 goals for the reserve side, but never got the chance to do it for the first team.
