Hibs have ended the loan deal of Southampton attacker Jake Sinclair early, after he failed to make an impression at Easter Road.
The 20-year-old signed for the Hibees on a season long loan deal in August, but has only made 3 appearances in that time.
Sinclair will now head back to the Premeirship club, with Hibs boss Alan Stubbs looking to freshen up his squad.
Speaking on the official club website, Stubbs said:
“I’d like to thank Jake and wish him all the best for the next stage in his career and I’d also like to thank Southampton for allowing us to take him here on loan.”
Sinclair follows fellow loanee Matthew Kennedy (Everton) in going back to his parent club this transfer window.
Good luck in the future Jake from everyone at Hibernian-Mad.
