Hibs have revealed that another youngster from the development side has went out on loan.
Midfielder Joao Balde has joined Scottish League Two side East Fife on a season-long loan deal.
The Portoguese youngster signed for the Hibees ln January 2021 from Civil Service Strollers, and was sent straight back on loan to the Lowland League side.
21-year-old Balde He will now juggle HIbs DV games with his loan deal in Methil to gain more experience.
Hibs Academy boss Steve Kean said:
“East Fife are a league two side, so that is a higher standard from where he played last season.
“As he’s slightly older – born in 2001 – he has a greater need to play competitive football than some of our younger players.
“The mix of competitive games and the high-quality nature of our games programme will accelerate his development.”

Another talented kid gaining some much needed game expeience.
He has aparently impressed Hibs since joining and they obviously hope he continues to develop in Fife.
