Hibs defender Tom James has today joined English side Salford City on loan for the rest of the season.
James, 24, spent the first half of the season on loan with English League One outfit Wigan Athletic, and impressed, scoring 4 goals in 24 appearances.
The Latics were keen to extend the loan until the end of the season, but an agreement couldn't be reached and now James has dropped down a division, to sign on loan with the club owned by Manchester United legends Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, David Beckham and the Neville brothers.
James will see out the rest of the season down south, before a decision is made on his Hibs future in the summer.

Good to see Tom secure another move and hopefully get some more much needed game time.
He did well at Wigan, and it's strange to see him drop a division, after impressing in League One.
He will surely be too good for the division, but he has swapped a relegation battle, for a promotion push, and it will hopefully put him in the shop window, if as expected, the Hibees try to move him on this summer.
