This one passed us by at Hibernian-Mad Towers but we have had another departure from Easter Road.
Out-of-favour defender Sean Mackie has joined Raith Rovers.
The 23-year-old has joined the Kirkcaldy on loan until the end of the season, which also calls an end to his Hibs career, with his Easter Road contract ending at the same time. as his loan
Mackie is of course returning to the club he made his professional debut with, only making 1 appearance for the Stark's Park club, before Hibs paid £25,000 for his services back in 2016.
Over his time at Easter Road, Mackie made 22 appearances, and also had loan spells with Berwick Rangers, Edinburgh City and Dundee.
Mackie joins Alex Gogic and Jamie Murphy in spending the last few months of his Hibs deal out on loan.
Hibernian-Mad View:
Another one we are not surprised by.
Mackie never really put a foot wrong when called upon, but it was clear he was regarded as a fringe player by numerous Hibs managers.
His failure to hold down a first team spot has seen him fall way down the pecking order behind Lewis Stevenson and Josh Doig and it's no surprise to see Shaun Maloney move him on.
He is more than good enough for the Championship and should be a good signing for Raith Rovers.
Good luck Sean from everyone at Hibernian-Mad.
