Hibs youngster Scott Smith has joined Dumbarton on loan until the end of the season.
Smith, 20, can play either left back or centre half, and will be in the squad for this weekend's game with Dunfermline.
Dumbarton are of course managed by former Hibs captain Ian Murray, who joined "the Sons" just recently, and has already had an impact, with his new club winning it's last two games, both away, to Falkirk and league leaders Morton.
Smith has also already had a short loan spell this season, with East Fife, and also had a spell on loan at Brechin City last season.
Speaking to the club's official website, he said:
"I'm really pleased with the move - I met the players last night, and I'm in the squad for the game against Dunfermline tommorow.
"The main thing for me is to get games under my belt and to perform well at a high level."
