Hibs boss Colin Calderwood has been dealt a blow today, with the news that full back Michael Hart faces a lengthy period on the sidelines.
The 31-year-old former Aberdeen and Preston defender move to Easter Road last summer, but his first season in Edinburgh was marred with both injury and poor form.
Hart had to leave the pitch, after only 5 minutes of this afternoon’s friendly with Sunderland at Easter Road, due to a groin injury.
Calderwood revealed in an after match interview that Hart faces a long spell on the sidelines.
In better news, David Wotherspoon, who also picked up an injury in the game, looks set to get the all clear to play for the Scotland U21’s against Norway on Wednesday at St Mirren Park.
