Hibs have today announced that wing-back Chris Cadden has signed a new deal with the club.

The 25-year-old has signed an extension to his current deal that will keep him tied to Easter Road until the summer of 2025.

Speking to the official club website, Cadden said:

“I’m delighted to sign a new deal at a really big club like Hibs, a club that really feels like home for me now.

“I was honoured to win Player of the Season last year and I think everyone can see how much I’m enjoying my football, but also how my own game is progressing.

“You can see how the Football Club is progressing both on and off the pitch and there’s an overriding feeling that there’s a real vision here; that’s something that excites me.”

HIbs boss Lee Johnson added:

“Not only is Chris a very good right-back, he’s the perfect cultural fit for us at Hibs.

“He’s a player that I believe is coming into the prime of his career and is a really good place to kick on and play the best football of his career.”

Hibs signed Cadden from MLS side Columbus Crewe in January 2021 and has now played ove 50 times for the club.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

A fantastic bit of news, Cadden was the Hibees best player last year, and getting him tied down to a longer contract is a brilliant piece of news.

Hopefully Cadden now goes from strength to strength at ER.
