Hibs boss Terry Butcher last night admitted that he could be interested in move for Inverness midfielder James Vincent.
The Hibees had been linked with a pre-contract move for the player, as he is out-of-contract in the summer, and Butcher has admitted he is interested.
Speaking to STV news he said:
"He's a player who is out of contract [in the summer], as are many players,
"That's more towards the summer we'd be looking at doing things like that.
"We want to bring in some quality players and James Vincent, who I signed before, is obviously a quality player. We'll look at that, monitor that and see what happens.
"There's quite a few players we are looking at in the summer who we can't get in January.
"The most important thing from our point of view is to try and get new faces on board this month and make sure we stimulate the squad and get fresh talent on board."
Vincent, 24, only signed for Caley in the summer, after previous spells with Stockport County and Kiddeminister Harriers, and hugely impressed before picking up an injury, that he's still recovering from.
