Yet another player has been linked with a move to Easter Road today.
Hartlepool defender Neil Austin is latest player to be linked with a move to Edinburgh, as new Hibs boss Pat Fenlon looks to bolster his squad in January.
James McPake, Andre Blackman, Mindaugas Kalonas and now Austin are all said to interesting the Hibees boss.
Austin is an experienced defender, who's strongest position is right back, but he can also play on the left side of defence aswell.
The 28-year-old started his career with Championship side Barnsley, where he made over 150 appearances for the Oakwell club.
He had a short loan spell with Gateshead, before moving to Darlington in 2007, spending two years with the club, and making over 75 appearances.
Austin then left Darlington in 2009 and joined arch rivals Hartlepool, after being voted in the end of season team of the year for League 2.
He is currently still with Hartlepool, and is a team mate of former Hibees striker Colin Nish, and has made close to 100 appearances for the "Monkey Hangers".
Hibs boss Fenlon seems keen on adding a right back to the squad, which could mean the end of both Michael Hart and on loan Ritchie Towell at Easter Road.
