Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has today revealed that there is a chance that Craig Rocastle could win a deal at Easter Road.

Paatelainen is re-building his squad for next season's campaign and hasn't ruled out a move for former Hibs loan player Rocastle.

Rocastle, 26, joined the Hibees on loan from English Premiership giants Chelsea during the 2004/05 season and impressed in his 15 games in a Hibs shirt. He eventually joined
Sheffield Wednesday.

The midfielder has returned to
England, but has given Paatelainen food for thought, the Hibs boss said:

"Craig's return was planned, he had to go back. He has plenty of attributes but these things are never entirely in your own hands, players often have other options they want to consider so we'll have to wait and see."

Hibs have already secured St Mirren defender David Van Zanten on a pre-contract agreement and also have former Gretna attacker Fabian Yantorno continuing his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury at the club, with a view to a deal for the Uruguayan.
