Hibs boss John Hughes has ruled himself out of the running to take over from Owen Coyle at Premiership side Burnley.
Coyle walked out on the Turf Moor club earlier this week after his former club Bolton Wanderers contacted them about the availability of the former St Johnstone boss.
It is thought Coyle recommended Hughes as his successor, but Yogi has moved to rule himself out of the running.
Hughes stated he would like to manage in the Premiership one day, but wants to achieve something at the Hibees, and is hopeful of sticking around for another 4-5 years at Easter Road.
The former Falkirk boss said:
"The English Premier League interests me, but not at this moment in time and I'm honest in that." he told Sky Sports News.
"I've worked ever so hard to get to Hibs. It's a club I hold close to my heart and I say to the fans I'm here for the next four or five years.
"To do that I've got to make sure I don't sit back and rest on my laurels. I need to get results and keep building that squad.
"So that's my message to the Hibs supporters. In football you can never say never, but I'm 100 per cent committed to the cause at Hibs."
Speaking about his friendship with Coyle, he added:
"He's a really good friend of mine. The two of us were at Falkirk together for six months. It's great to see him do well.
"He's full of enthusiasm, a clever boy, really astute and knows a player. He wants to see the game played in the right manner, no different from myself really.
"I'm quite happy up in Scotland and as I say I've got the best job in Scotland as far as I'm concerned. So why should I look elsewhere?"
Good to see our manager showing a bit of loyalty to the club, it's refreshing to hear.
Let's hope he IS around for another 4-5 years, and builds on the excellent start he has made.
