Hibs boss John Collins has this afternoon revealed, that he is still chasing a big powerful striker to add to his EIGHT summer signings so far.
The transfer window closes tomorrow night, but Collins has hinted that there could be a chance of summer signing number nine and that he has THREE possible candidates in mind.
Hibs had been linked with Michael Antoine-Curier over the last couple of weeks, after the player scored FOUR in a closed door match, but it seems that Collins isn't interested in the player as he is in transfer talks with English side MK Dons.
The Hibs boss said:
"We are still active, hopeful is the word I'm looking for. We've been looking for a while. We have two or three definite targets but much will depend on other things happening.
"At this time you'll find managers and clubs are only willing to let someone go if they can get another player in, it can rest on other things happening. A striker is the one we have been looking for, but every other manager seems to be looking for the same thing so it's a challenge."
