Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has today revealed that he is keen to extend the contract of Lewis Stevenson.
The in-form midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the season, but Fenlon knows it all depends if the Hibees beat the drop to the 1st division.
24-year-old Stevenson has been superb for the Easter Road men lately, that has seen the club hit some form, and slowly start to pick up points.
Fenlon said:
“Lewis has been fantastic since I came into the club and he is a player I’d love to keep.
“I’m hoping we can sort it out before the end of the season, but we just need to make sure we get ourselves safe and then we can start talking about things like that
“Lewis is in the same situation as everyone else at the club.
“Everybody’s futures are in doubt while we are in our current situation.
“First and foremost, we need to make sure we stay in this league.”
