Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has confirmed that striker Eoin Doyle has agreed a pre-contract move away from Easter Road.
The former Sligo Rovers striker has agreed a two-year-deal with League Two side Chesterfield and will move south at the end of his Hibs contract this summer.
25-year-old Doyle has played under Chesterfield manager Paul Cook before, at Sligo Rovers.
Fenlon said:
"Eoin has agreed a contract (with Chesterfield),
"We offered him a contract five or six weeks ago and he turned it down.
"That's the decision he has made and we just have to get on with it.
"But he's very honest, when he gets on the pitch he works very hard for the team so I don't expect anything different from him."
Doyle has been at Easter Road since 2011, with the Hibees beating off competition for his signature from Ipswich Town and Aberdeen.
He has scored 11 goals in 45 appearances for Hibs.
