It has been confirmed tonight that Hibs have had an offer for Dundee midfielder Luke McCowan rejected by the Dark Blues.
According to Sky Sports, English League One side Bolton Wanderers have also had an offer rejected, but both clubs remain keen and are both expected to go back with higher offers.
Celtic are also said to be monitoring the situation, but have so far not submitted an offer.
26-year-old McCowan has entered the last year of his contract at Dens Park so can speak to club's about a bosman move this coming January transfer window.
It's not clear how much the Hibees offered.

McCowan would be an incredible signing for Hibs.
If they could get this one over the line, amongst stiff competition, it would be a real staement of intent from Easter Road.
