It has been revealed that Hibs have entered the race for Kilmarnock hitman Stevie Naismith.

Hibs have tabled a bid of around £1.2m for the exciting young
Scotland internationalist as boss John Collins continues to re-build his squad for the up coming SPL campaign.

Naismith, 20, has been a revelation since breaking through the
Kilmarnock youth system and has bagged a load of goals.

Hibs face stiff competition for Naismith but the Hibees have out bid Rangers for the player and it's also expected that Celtic will join the race.
Bristol City and Southampton have also been credited with an interest.

Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston was speaking to the Herald newspaper and said:

"It is a more attractive offer than the Rangers one and might be the subject of future discussions."

Naismith would be cracking signing for the Hibees, let's hope JC can pull it off.

BUT, can you see Rod Petrie sanctioning a £1m+ move on one player?????

Nah, me neither!
