Hibs announce pre-season fixtures against Bolton and Middlesbrough

Hibs have announced that they will face Premiership sides Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough in pre-season in preparation for the 2007/08 SPL campaign.

Bolton Wanderers will be the first of the two the Hi-Bees will face. Sammy Lee's side head North on Wednesday July 25th with a 7.45pm kick off.

Hibs will then face Gareth Southgate's Middlesbrough on Saturday July 28th with a 3pm kick off.

The match with Middlesbrough does however put the proposed friendly with Barcelona in doubt as this is the date the Catalan giants were supposed to come to Edinburgh.

Rumour has it that Hibs have declined a game with the Spanish side, because they only wanted to have an "Exhibition" match, meaning they didn't want there to be any tackling!!!
