Hibs have apparently accepted a £3m bid for winger Martin Boyle from Saudi club Al-Faisaly.
The speed merchant was left out of tonight's win over Cove Rangers as he discusses a possible, eye watering, £29,000 a week move to the West Asian club.
Al-Faisaly have been chasing the Australian international all summer, having made three or four previous bids, the first was £500,000, with the last one that was turned down being around £2.25m.
The Hibees have stood fast and it looks like they have pocketed the £3m they have been after for their main man.
Boyle, 28, is expected to complete the life changing move in the coming days.
Hibernian-Mad View;
It's a day that has been threatning to come for a long time, but Martin Boyle totally deserves this move.
He joined the Hibees in a swap deal from Dundee, ith young Alex Harris going the other way, and then made the deal permanent the follwing transfer window.
Boyler has went on to win the Scottish Cup, the Championship League title, and just recently agreed a new deal that removed a clause that would have seen the Hibees lose him to a foreign side for just £500,000.
If the deal goes through as expected, he will be a massive loss to the Hibees, but it's a move, at a reported £29k a week, he can't turn down.
