Hibs reserve side smashed Dundee Utd this afternoon in a keenly contested reserve fixture at Almondvale.

Filipe Morais ran the show for the Hibees second string with his pace and power evident.

Morais grabbed a double, the first a superb free kick, Damon Gray, Clayton Donaldson and a Dean Shiels penalty after Donaldson had been brought down were the Hibees goal scorers.

Sean Lynch was impressive in an unfamiliar right back role, Damon Gray was a menace all day for the Dundee Utd defence and Torben Joneleit also looked impressive for Hibs.

The Hibs line up was:

McNeil
Hanlon
Joneleit
McCormack
Lynch
Chisholm
Shiels
Morais
Noubissie
Gray
Donaldson

Subs:

Grof
Ayre
Notman
Wilson
Byrne

Ayre, Wilson and Notman all also made appearances from the bench.
